  • 9 cups crispy rice cereal squares
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 1/2 cups confectioners' sugar


Puppy Chow Recipe for Birthday Parties


  1. In a saucepan over low heat, melt the chocolate.
  2. Add peanut butter and mix until smooth.
  3. Remove from heat, add cereal, and stir until coated.
  4. Let the mixture slightly cool.
  5. Pour powdered sugar into a large plastic bag, add coated cereal, and shake until well coated. Store in an airtight container.


This sweet treat is a gluten-free choice and can be made into a dairy-free option by switching out the semi-sweet chocolate chips for a dairy-free version.
